| Susan, of course, is the presiding genius
at Not Just Yarn. There is nothing this woman can't do in the needlework
field. Her expertise and her meticulous attention to detail, as well as
her teaching ability and kind heart, have made her the heart and soul of
the needlework community here in Brattleboro. She is an avid sea kayaker
and Mom to 6kitties -Lucy, the store queen kittie (she goes home at night),

Elva is famous for her relaxed knitting style and makes sure that we know that "Knitting is all about relaxation". We love to watch her as she knits away. When knitting at home she is often assisted by one of her kitties, Wally, Chessie or the newest arrival Ginger. Elva enjoys working here one or two days a week, be sure to stop by and check out her style!

Bess comes to Not Just Yarn as a retired nurse who is full of energy
and loves knitting. The knitting classes that she teaches are Aran sweater,
lace scarf, lace sock and making felted clogs. Bess has knit everything
from lace angels to felted slippers. Her expertise and analitical skills
are your asset when assistance is needed. *************************************************************** |
Mary comes to us with a
very strong crochet background. She loves to make those cute little
crocheted tops for her 17 year old daughter. Mary is also quickly
becoming an adept knitter - and boy, does she love to felt so she can see
what will happen as she knits these huge floppy things and then shrinks
them! Her at home knitting/crochet assistants are Christie, the long
haired white kitty and her Jack Russell Terrier (WOW! Super Energized),
Jenny. Both assistants are particularly fond of wool. ![]() |
